Default most $$ spent on plugs?

I can't believe the prices guys spend for plugs sometimes. What is the most you have ever spent on one plug?

I have spent up to 30.00 on a plug.
But I have "changed my ways".
Out of all the plugs I have now none cost more than 20.00, most all are between 8.00 an 15.00.
All that I paid 20.00 or more i have either sold or traded away.
Great productive plugs can be bought under 15.00 from many builders.

I have several plugs that cost me between 20 and 25 dollars, but I think it is really not worth it I don't seem to catch any more fish with them than with cheaper lures. I still like fishing with them though.

$20 is my limit. You can do better than that if you go to garage sales and flea markets. I buy lots of plugs in the winter, clean them up a bit, mostly plastics, put new hooks on them, and give them away to kids when I see them fishing with their Dads at the beach.

$20 is it for me. Though I usually get the wal-mart specials.

    Default plug cost,,

Even though I make my own,I will still buy a plug but,I have to REALLY like it and even so,if it's more than 20 it will stay there and hang, before I leave,I'll scan it then make one similar.

^^ Generally human behavior is "Monkey see...Monkey do"

I had a chance to purchase a GRS pike and DMAG needle for $100 both new. Thought about buying the lot, listing the needle on ebay, pocketing the difference and fishing the GRS but then I said to myself...Don't be one of the Monkey's!!!

I personally just purchased a bunch more of the superstrike needles, bottles, darters and poppers to compliment my current collection. Couldn't resist the sale price of $12 shipped to my door. One plug will catch as many fish as you can throw at it until you loose it and its guaranteed to swim right out of the package every time.
