that fish puked out at least 40 p-knutts after I released it,the water was clouded with them and still it was major fat.

well,thats due to the cooling waters,the gators have moved out of the rivers and into the harbors.
they don't like to fight the current with the cooler water,it burns too much energy plus they are built different and have different metabolisms than the bass do.
as for the bass they do good in cold water so,they will stay in the current even with water temps at 45 degrees F.
