    Found this site while I was Googleing (spelling??) something and stumbled onto this. I LIKE IT!!! Unfortunately I don't have a chance to get to the sand to do anything now-a-days so I will probably be va lurker more than a participant (sorry). Buthave no fear the Fossil will pop up once and a while.

    Hey Fossil what's up! It doesn't matter whether you fish a lot or not, you're still welcome here. What kind of fishing do you do mostly? How did you first start fishing? Tell us a little about yourself.

    Don' t want to get long winded , but here goes.
    Started boat fishing with neighbor at an early age, dad was there sometimes. After a little vacation in South Viet Nam, hooked up with a friend and started slinging eels on the south shore of Long Island, NY, to supplement my income ( traded eels for stripers and cash). Tried fresh water but no turn on. Did the Jersey shore thing in the mid 70's LBI beach house ( ex in laws). Happily married now in De but have hard time finding the time to hit the sand more than 10-20 times a year. Still have the original Penn reel I used on LI, its in pieces now from a started rebuild from several years ago. P.S. thanks for the welcome! Fossil outfor a while.
