New Hampshire seeks fishing instructors

November 13, 2009

CONCORD, N.H.—New Hampshire's Fish and Game Department is fishing -- for people who love to fish.

The department is looking for volunteer ice fishing or fly-fishing instructors for its "Let's Go Fishing" program.

Individuals being certified must attend two free training sessions. One session covers program policy and CPR certification; the other covers ethics, pond ecology, rules and regulations, equipment and safety.

The policy training classes will be held Dec. 12 in Concord and Jan. 9 in Berlin. The fly-fishing and ice fishing specialty course are being held Jan. 10 in Concord and Jan. 16 in Holderness.
