Default Time for a road trip to Delmarva

AWeiss posted the pics of these cows on www.stripercoastsurfcasters.us

They're taking a road trip to Va the day after Thanksgiving. I wish I was goin, have to figure out the logistics of a road trip down there. It's not that far, and the big girls are jumpin out of the water to see ya!

Are you going on the Yak or from surf?

I think the only way to reach those fish is from a yak, if you're talking about the CBBT. I think there are bridge fishermen down there as well if you want to bait and wait. That CBBT is fishermen friendly, from what I remember, and has places for fishermen parking as they fish off the bridge.

The reality is, most of the bigger fish there are caught from a boat or kayak.

In the Spring, I think you can fish from shore on the flats in the back where the rivers empty into the upper Chesapeake. I've not fished that yet. Based on the quality fishery, I went to Bing and mapped out 2 strategic fishin spots I was going to hit earlier this year. Family problems forced me to cancel that trip.

I'm trying to find a way down there before the winter. These pending 14-20" NJ fish won't be enough to sustain my addiction.
