Default How much do you take with you?

I am always careful when I go surfing not to put to many of my best lures in my surf bag. I figure if I lose the bag my losses will be to a minimum.

Rockhopper, a 1 row plug bag is sufficient for this time of year. You should be downsizing your presentations as the water gets colder, and can get by with a few metals, bucktail, needlefish, a bomber, and a small profile like a mambo. I also like the bags that have belt loops so my shoulders don't hurt so much.

Well, I definitely take too many plugs/metals/etc...with me when I go. It's funny, I've been taking a friend of mine trying to get him into surfcasting, and I always tell him just to bring a couple of metals like an A27 and maybe an A47, and of course teasers, but I always end up having a full plug bag with me and I'll only use a select few plugs. Hey, it's better to have and not need than to need and not have, I say.

I have 2 single row bags on my belt.
Carry ~12 plugs, 8 metal (Avas & Jrods), teasers (deceivers and rubber tubes), Sluggos.

6 plugs, 3 metals, some extra line, leaders and hooks. The less the better.
