I haven't seen his trailer in a while. He would always have a crazy cowboy hat and sometimes had a pet rabbit with him. We had a hilarious conversation with him one day on RT36 at a stop light.

not exactly pounding surf but I thought it symbolized some of the long walks we have to take to get out there

Report from Team TCB from last Thu night...

    1. Just to be clear, they have been out almost every night since the season opened...fishing hard for bass...so far up to Fri night,, their biggest bass so far was in the mid teens...lots of work for the fish they caught....)

2.The bass follow certain patterns every year....if you pay attention to these patterns sometimes you can strategize where they might sit for a while...and be available to guys fishing for them from land.....

    3. Based on these patterns....I was pushing Team TCB to fish a certain area....they didn't want to go there as they were having some luck in another area....

    4. I kept pushing and pushing them...telling them their time window was limited...as I know of a few spots where the fish consistently stage every year.....

They called me Thur night....hooting and shouting...sending me the pics you see posted here....

The nicest thing about that.....my one friend had his 16 year old son fishing with him......
And every single one of these guys got multiple nice fish....on bunker heads...including his son....
I don't have any kids...and grew up in a dysfunctional family....so it's a great joy to me to help Dads and their kids find fish.......

Congrats to Team TCB for an outstanding night of fishing....and finding some of the biggest fish from land so far...

I'm proud of you guys....all of ya's......including that stinky basstid Mikey BonZ....

All pics and report courtesy of Team TCB....
**We delayed posting these...to allow them to fish that bite in peace.....until it was done....
(something some of the other young guns on Facebook might want to consider.....)

    [Their Report.....
Team TCB all over fish to 31 pounds late night bite. Incredible large body of bass in Raritan Bay. Electric Fresh Bunker works every time]

Just saw your post, sure can use it. I think it's one of my favorites I have ever taken. It's my seen saver too. That was my first trip out there, all alone, I was in awe.

    Cape May....May 2015....

This is a friend who goes out and hunts for fish....
{some of you have heard remarks made that some of these post-spawn Cape May area fish had nothing in their bellies).....this one was long and a little under weight.....

Some of the fish 47" and over have weighed out at 42 lbs or more...you can tell by looking at the pic she is long and skinny for her size......

    Some details...
    "Fished from 4-7am...nothing....
Took a nap..ate lunch..went for a drive up the coast....
Went back to beach front around 5:30....
Got her at 7pm on fresh clams....
continued fishing until 9:30 pm when the tide died......
I had a really fresh bunker head on other rod....they did not touch it....
The power of the clam....Clam beat out bunker...
    47 inches and 36 lbs

17 hours for one fish...thanks for the good words Rich I earned that fish!"

Very nice fish well deserved. I don't know if I could stick it out for that long for just one fish.
