I was there on Sat, it was ok. The same old tackle shops are there every year. I like the show because you get a chance to meet with the outfitters if you are thinking about a trip to Canada, Alaska, or out of the country somewhere else.
The one gripe I have is they charge too much. $12 x 2 is 24 if you bring your girlfriend, and the food is high too. Bring kids and you just spent $100 on the day before you buy anything. They should give people a break because of the rescession. I know a few people who stayed away because of the $12. $9 or $10 might have seemed more reasonable. just my 2 cents.

^^^^I had the same question. I have family living in that area and was going to visit my aunt and uncle. They are old so I won't be there long just some face time. thought I would check out the show on the way home. Have any of you guys been there lately. thanks

If you're into hunting it's one of the best hunting venues. If not, meh.
Heres a list of some other ones with more fishing things

I went last year. Would not go again. Too much hunting, not enough good fishing deals. my .02. Hope that helps.

I just checked that link you posted. It's now $13 to get in. What do you get for that? Looking to book exotic fishing trips it might still be a good choice. If you want good fishing stuff you're better off at asbury on sunday. jmho
