Hooked up with G tonight and fished a Dirty Water spot.
The wind was blowing from the NE. The water was a little cloudy, but not chocolate milk like some of the bays. The water was relatively warm compared to the bays and got up to around 50.

There's only one bait they use there right now. If ya don't bring a pitchfork with ya you might as well go home.

Throughout the day some small fish were caught, maybe a dozen or more, no keepers today.
Here's a 26" fish caught and quickly returned.

We fished the whole flood tide until slack. A few missed hits was all that was in the cards for us.

Some spearing have started to filter in, but not in great concentrations. I got a little bored and started to fish spearing profile plugs. Also fished lightweight spearing profiile rubber jigs, nothing. We still had a good time.

I feel with the small bass and an occasional keeper, it can get better with the bunker coming in.

    Happy Easter to all!

was back at the dw on sunday took a friend to lok at a few spots he had never fished at eather of the two spots so we got to the first spot and it look good only had a few guys fishing but the tide had just started to change so the bite had stoped so we just looked at little we wanted to fish but the shop had closed early for easter and none of the guys had dug any worms yet so it was off to the next spot we took a drive and when we got there guys had got a few keepersbut most of the fish were in the low 20 inch range but the made up in numbers we got 2 doz sand and we got to fishing it was a nice day and night my buddy got three bass and he was happy all the trips down to rb he came up with the skunk so now he wants to look at a few other dw spots i had my son with me se both got skunk but its cool at least we were out with each other so when the dw gets some more bait the big girls should not be far so it will only get better so tite line and good fishin to all
