The first bluefish of the season were reported as caught this morning near a power plant. Guy supposably caught 3, around 2lbs each.

Bluefish are not officially allowed to enter the state until I catch my first bass, which should be around April 15.
That's because those fish are there all winter with the ww outflow. I don't imagine any willl be caught in other areas for a few weeks yet, but you never know.
