    Default Tagged fish

I tagged fish about 15 years ago for a couple years with the American Littoral Society. Today caught my first striper that had a tag. Will call them this week to report the fish.
Was wondering how common it is to catch tagged fish.
With ALS, tagging was on top behind the fin, this fish tagged much different.

    Hi Monty,

I used to catch fish with tags on a regular basis but,in the last 10 years almst none,I think just one.
they wee all tagged by HRF and I caught 2 that had ALS tags.
funny how I don't see tagged fish much anymore, even an ex girlfriend that fished with me at times caught 2 from HRF,now, none.

    Surfstix thanks,
This one was on a Hogy I rigged.
Did get one on a popper kit that I did this past week.
And two others on my teaser.
I find in pretty cool catching on something that I either made or had a hand in making. Adds to the experience.

I got a fish with one from the HRF a few years ago. Last year, one from the ALS. But my answer would also be no, I haven't seen a lot of them.
