Default Why I Moved to NC

There has been some discussion lately about how unfriendly NJ is becoming towards beach and kayak fisherman. I mentioned that as one reason why I moved from NJ to NC. So naturally, some members here have asked me why I picked North Carolina of all places.

Well, I think this recent news report pretty much sums it up:

    "He had beautiful hair"

That guy Tim Peeler should be a regular guest on a reality TV show. Central casting dreams about finding people like that.

"He was 10 ft tall, had beautiful hair..
I tried to run him off, had to rough talk him..."

You guys had the best offshore and inshore fishing too, until recent shut downs.
That's a shame, as I was just getting ready to move down there.

I don't think ya would be happy having me for a neighbor, Jon. First thing I would do would be to stock up on coffee. After a year or so, there would be less coffee on the shelves in the stores, and y'all would have to pay more for your daily cup.

    Ha, funny clip!
What are the property taxes like down there? I'm paying 15k/yr. Every year it goes up, and the services seem worse.
