Holy toledo was the video a spot burn, I see they interviewed Joe P. I hate to sound pessimistic but see it getting worse each year.

The carelessness and littering by many folks will close off many areas for us to fish. It is not bad enough we have the plovers and marine protected areas. In the end folks will have no one to blame but themselves.

Thanks for the perspectives, guys. Clamchucker is right on the $$. Carelessness and littering will close more and more areas, and has recently been part of the reason for closures to bridge fishing of a few popular ones. This is happening every day, and it's up to us to speak up against those who don't have a clue. Thanks for posting, Fin.

And it was good to see Joe get some press. He's almost single-handedly responsible for the construction of the 8th Ave jetty.

Joe, along with Finchaser, Surfwalker, and others, is one of the activists out there that every fishermaen should get a chance to shake their hand in thanks.
