    Post Sellers Beware

Assh_le is out to screw us again sales tax when selling a house

This is for all us homeowners who may be thinking about downsizing, selling, moving. Still another tax to kill the home owning geese who lay the golden tax eggs, AND it is being snuck in AFTER the election under the guise of health care. Wow, really?

    Just a heads up!

The National Association of REALTORS is all over this and working to
get it repealed, before it takes effect. But, I am very pleased we
aren't the only ones who know about this ploy to steal billions from
unsuspecting homeowners. How many REALTORS do you think will vote
    Democratic in 2012?

Did you know that if you sell your house after 2012 you will pay a 3.8%
sales tax on it? That's $3,800 on a $100,000 home, etc. When did this
happen? It's in the health care bill and goes into effect in 2013.

Why 2013? Could it be to come to light AFTER the 2012 elections? So,
this is "change you can believe in"?
Under the new health care bill all real estate transactions will be
subject to a 3.8% Sales Tax.

If you sell a $400,000 home, there will be a $15,200 tax. This bill is
set to screw the retiring generation who often downsize their homes.
Does this make your November and 2012 vote more important?

Oh, you weren't aware this was in the Obamacare bill? Guess what, you
    aren't alone.
There are more than a few members of Congress that aren't aware of it
    either

What a load of crap that is. They take and take from us. Housing is one area where people can actually save a nest egg for their retirement. And they want to tax the sales too? I guess the federal tax will be in addition to the NJ realty transder fee you pay whenever you sell your house. Too many greedy hands in the pot!

How can anyone possibly afford this? As it is the housing market has stalled. Houses are not selling. The few that do sell are being sold at such a low price that hardly any profit is being made. Now with this sales tax we will be paying money instead of making some.

At what point can some of these democrats and republicans be charged for treason?
They are screwing this country to make their party look better.
That tax and that health care bill should be shoved up everyone's XXX who voted for it.
And whoever was responsible for writing the final bill should be exiled...and consider themselves lucky.
The current government (both partys) is demolishing the present and future of this country, at a rapid pace.
