    Default 25 cent swimmers

My first attempt at a swimmer. I used a quarter as a lip. Watch a few videos on how to weight it correctly.I did two very rough and did a test swim. They swim awesome. They have a nice tight shake and they float. So the third one I spent a little more time rounding everything off. First two will be bluefish chew toys.

The whole lure cost a quarter.

You said they cost 25c to make, what about the wood, are you hand carving those or are they kits? Nice idea there

Nice hobby to get into for the winter. It must be a great feeling when you catch on your own plug.

That looks a lot thicker than a normal metal lip and heavier. Does it dig in more, that's what it seems like it would do to me. Good effort, now stick a fish with it!

Beautiful profile..good for the forage that's around now....
(Much better if the background for your pic was total darkness......the bays are alive with bait when the skies are dark.... ) Check your PMs....
