That's a great shot, Madcaster. It's hard to get action shots like that, when you're in the middle of it...cause you know you'll miss a few fish being the cameraman....

The biggest blues are now offshore, but not too far....if the water temps stay mild they may be in their usual back bay haunts early this year, say by April 10....can't wait! It's a great fishery to take kids out fishin for as they won't get bored...
As the time gets closer, PM me and I'll give ya the specifics, if you aren't already on the hunt...

I do hope we get them good this year. They had them at Breezy to 42"...Brasilva got about 800 bluefish total...those are just bluefish numbers and don't include his bass numbers....Madcaster PM him if ya want the details...

** And if it's ok with you, I'm gonna C&P your post to the "NJ fishing pics" thread...

I hope so too. Last year was such a disappointment. I don't think I caught a blue over 4 pounds. They were mostly 2 pounds. I hope they come in like they were 2 years ago.

Me too, not likely over 4 pounds, but i caught a lot more than 2010, which was unreal bad as far as blues for me. The only year I ever caught more bass than blues.

2009 and 2010 were great, 2011 was a major bummer. Hope it is slamming this year. Thanks for sharing the pic madcaster.

I saw that video this morning, Matt, hope you don't mind me posting it....here's a great example of someone shooting a video without focusing too much on the shoreline or structure that would identify where he was...very nicely done...
