I thought what he says in the video is spot on.
I did not like his bucktail book, John Skinner's bucktail book I thought was much better.
I really do like what he said in the interview big time in almost every aspect.

Thank you for posting Surfstix, I thought that interview was great and there are a heck of a lot of "fishermen" out there that should listen to him. Also the ASMFC would be wise to consider his opinions.

So true. For me its the act of "learning" that is fun. Discovering things.
Instant gratification takes away from the majority of the fun, the sense of accomplishment.
For those that seek, need instant gratification it says a lot about these types of people, about the state of our society.

So true, people don't know what it means to fail. Hard work teaches you the value of the benefits you achieve from it. thanks for posting, surfstix. Didn't know much about Doc Muller before but I can see the guy really knows his stuff.
