while cleaning out the garage today i found a bunch of fishing rods i forgot i had..

2 of them are Daiwa baitcaster(i think) rods, pistol grips & eyes on top of the rod.

model AG562MB. they have never been used. i never even bought reels for them.

are these worth anything significant? i tried posting a picture but my camera is charging. i'll post pic. when my camera charges.

i'd guess they are 15 years old.

the rods say they are 5'6" in length(it may say 5'8' but i can't see well enough to know for sure) but when i stand them up they are taller than i am & i'm 5'9".

    lure weight 1/4 - 1/2 oz. & 6-12 lb. test.

anybody shed some light on these?

    thanx,
    PP

i checked ebay but there only a handful of apollo rods there but nothing close.

i haven't fished in over 12 years. i primarily trolled on lake ontario from rochester west to point breeze for trout & salmon with some shore fishing when whether kept me off the lake.

i sold the boat in the late 90s & retired to NC in 2000. fishing here sucks unless you have a boat.

i'm not sure i'm on the correct site here. i did a google search for a Daiwa Forum & i found this site.

anyone have any other suggestions?..i have a feeling these might be $10.00 rods at best. if so, i'll put them back in the garage for the next garage sale.

One of these days I'm going to get down to visot Jon. A visit has been in order for years, but finances have prevented it.....if you ever come up to NJ and want to see some good fishing at night,. contact me ahead of time.

If you have any freshwater stories, we'd love to hear em.
I spent the better part of my illicit youth fishing the best reservoirs in our state and have great memories of camping, hanging out, and fishing till I dropped.......

I truly envy the weather you folks have down there.
You can fish, in some capacity, for most months of the year.....must be great to have that freedom....
