    just finished a batch stuby needles
    4" long 2oz
    I've been catch a lot of blues on my orange stubby needle past few weeks
    so I thought I make some back ups in chase I lost it
    all the weight is in the tail end, they fly nice.

    Even on the darkest day,....I can't imagine that a bluefish would have trouble finding those plugs, Mad....

    Great underwater shots, Madcaster.


    I don't think people realize how difficult it is to actually get clear shots of bluefish underwater....they come in like speed freaks, and give 200% in the fight...when you're battling them in warmer water on top water plugs, there's almost no time at all where they aren't in frantic side to side motion, and angry jumps and tailwalking, even for the bigger teen fish...

    And they continue to thrash and try to chop you in pieces, even when they are half-dead......So to capture that like you do....takes patience and talent......
