Fished a small ice tournament this Saturday on a private lake w/my brother. Ice was 3-6" depending on the area. Spots with more sun exposure were around 3" and the shaded areas were a good 6" or better. This rain and warm weather will destroy what little ice was left...Originally Posted by plugginpete
We had good fishing for about 10 minutes and then the action completely shut down (I believe too much pressure on a small lake). In the first few minutes we had this small bass which is the only fish I had time to take a picture of (wanted to get them weighed in and released asap).
We also got another small bass, and a bigger one that weighed in at 2.8lbs, three pickerel and one crappie.
Between the two of us we ended up in third place in 3 out of 4 categories. Now if only 3rd place had a prize! LOL
