Hi Plug,
In my line of work, I find it critical to have all my gear carry a warranty.
Here is a partial - editted funny piece thats going up on next weeks fishing report you might enjoy

Important things to remember when fishing the Salmon River:
1. Its better to reel IN a fish than reel OUT a fish.
2. Treat every rock like a fish. When trying to unsnag yourself off a rock and your rock starts to swim upstream its probably not a ROCK!
3. Fishing rods are like fine china. When handled correctly they work fine. When you put your hand above the cork on the graphite for extra leverage on a BIG King or Coho Salmon it explodes like a gun going off in your face! This is very similar to dropping your mother's finest china on a hard floor.
4. Bring a spare rod in case you do number 3.
5. If you do number 3 and its your guides rod, tip them a little extra for the overnight shipping charges they will incur.
