Hey this isn't much of a fishing report but my wife and family recently drove to MA to visit some relatives. I didn't think to bring my pole with me. I was talking over dinner about the fishing there, and one of the cousins said he would take me after dinner. We were fishing the monomoy flats which I think is the south part of the Cape. We did a lot of walking and he said we had to be careful of the tides as they can vary. It was a tough few hours. Always moving from one spot to the next. We fished the outgoing tide. I got one 20" striper on a storm shad. He said they were getting much bigger ones at night but we couldn't stick around that long. Have heard a lot about the canal also. May come back and fish that in June as he said that's the best month for it. Still, it was fun to see how the fishing is in other states. Beautiful clean water up there. Much cleaner than I have seen in Jersey. Will def try to go back.
