    do you get hook fouling with the body?

    No if you tie it right you want to build up the rear of the fly so it doesn't foul. This fly won 1 st place catching the biggest weakfish at last years JBay kayak tournament.

    Based of the picture with the notebook it looks to be 10.5-11" long

    Was that done using any type of extension for the material?

    Closer to 11" and no extension . Whiting Flat Wing Hackle over white yak . Olive & white flat wing & burnt peacock hackle on top.

    Really liked that I bet it will crush it when the sandeels are around.
