    I used to fly fish for trout a lot and tied my own flies.
    It really adds to the experience catching on something that you tied.

    yeah it's pretty cool to catch fish on your flies. This one is an ugly one but still pretty cool. I shot a lot of video of my trying to hook up but of course I hook up when the camera is not rolling. I put together a little video showing where I was fishing. Me casting while standing on my kayak (you can see my big fat shadow LOL) I cheat a little and towards the end I hook some weeds but I cut the video there to give the impression I hooked a fish. pathetic I know- but video of casting and no fish is terribly boring. I kept this video short to lessen the pain of watching it.
