    Default Hook ID

Hopefully someone here can ID the bottom hook for me.

The top hook is a Mustad 31022D Limerick style hook. A pretty good hook IMO but as with any long shank hook the overall strength suffers and drags cannot be tightened too much.

The bottom is the same Limerick style but in a more modern laser sharpened hook style. I got a few of these over the winter at a flea market. So far the hook points have held up well and they don't show any rust (I rinse thoroughly after using).

It has a different finish (more of a nickel look to it) which so far has held up much better than the Mustad Duratin to the saltwater that gets trapped in the surgical tubing.

    Anyone know who makes it???

Pay attention to what history has taught us or be prepared to relive it again
