Some videos of MSGDan's pike trip to the Passaic River
Do you have to go to Canada to catch these toothy critters?
Not if you're DannyV, catching them right here in the dirty Passaic River in NJ.

"Trying to catch a pike in the Passaic river is hard enough and trying to get it on video is even harder! I had the camera rolling for about a half hour yesterday before I hooked up with this pike. You can see my spinner bait hit the water and the strike at about the 30 second mark.
After another hour or so, I hooked another one but I put the camera on after hooking up.
I am very new to this video stuff, but I have another 4 weeks to try to get better for my kayak trip to Alaska."

He told me he's doing an August Halibut kayak trip in Alaska.
Should be some fascinating footage when he hooks into fish there. They're looking for halibut, and may run into some lemon sharks, adrenaline rush.

Those are nice sized pike! Where the heck is the Passaic River, the water looks so brown.

The Passaic is a river in northern New Jersey. It prob looks brown because it snakes through the heart of the worst pre-war industrial parts of the state up there. Cool video, thanks for posting dark.
