One of the plugs that I got from Rip-Plugger last year was a green Fat Mullet. Its short and fat.
I had considerable more hook-ups with this plug than any others I have used before.
One of the reasons I liked it was that I am sure a bass had never seen anything like this before. Its "different".
When it was in current I felt the "wobble".
It cast decent.
I caught bass in the wash with it, on back sides of waves and in rips.
Developed lots of confidence in it.
I lost it this year about 6 or 7 weeks ago while fighting a big blue fish at 3:30 AM.
So Rip-Plugger sent me a new one below and I will start fishing it this Sunday. Will see if I can develop the same confidence in this one I had in the other.
One thing for sure, I am pretty sure a bass never saw anything like this before
