    Default New R-P Pluggage

Here is sme new pluggage by Rip Plugger.
    Looking great!!

The top is a standard Fat mullet,6 inches and about 2.5 oz.,,black over
cobalt, went back to basics on these 2,no sparkles, lets the color be
    richer.

The second one is a blend of 2 of my own designs,it's a cross between a
    Rip-Splitter and Rip-Runner,also I added a hump.
it has a tight waggle like no other.
6 inches and about 2 oz,red under black with silver accents.

Very nice work! Monty, you said the plugs are done in acrylic, coming from an airbrush gun, right? And I wondered if you knew how many coats of clear he uses, and how long it usually takes to dry from when he starts, to when they are cured enough to cast them?

    thanks 7-DP,

no airbrush here,I do it with a foam brush by hand,I mix up my own colors and the epoxy coats have usually 2 but sometimes I get a dust bunny baby so I use a sanding sponge to lightly roughen the surface and apply another epoxy coat.
I allow 1 day to cure and then it can hit the water to test!
