I found this when searching about shark fishing. He caught it 2 months ago. A 13 foot hammerhead has to be a little scary when you bring it alongside the boat.

(May 7) - A Florida fisherman reeled in a 13-foot-long hammerhead weighing more than 1,000 pounds, which could set a new world record for a shark of its class, WBBH-TV reported.
Bucky Dennis said he fought with the shark on his own for over two hours before he finally subdued in in waters near Boca Grande, Fla., on Tuesday.

Quite a Catch: Fisherman Bucky Dennis, left, shows off a hammerhead weighing more than 1,000 pounds in Port Charlotte, Fla., on Tuesday. The catch may set a new record for a shark of its class.
Dennis told WBBH-TV the current record for a shark of this class is for a 620-pound creature caught in Texas in 1982. Dennis will have to submit paperwork to the International Game Fish Association in order for him to be awarded a world record.
In 2006, Dennis caught a hammerhead shark weighing more than 1,200 pounds in the same area. That shark broke a world record in a different class.
