    I've known Hemi for a while now, ran into him for the first time this year at the Freeport show. Here's what I said about him:

    Now his friend Steve Petri has taken over the selling part of that venture, and Hemi started making rods.

    He's only been doing it awhile. The one I shot a video of wasn't finished yet, but it will be a cod rod to get in on the notable Montauk cod action.

    Good luck with the rod building, dude, nice meeting ya again.

    Hemi has also gotten himself involved in some of the issues facing recreational fishermen, going to the meetings, and dealing with all that boring stuff in support of a better future for us all.

    Hemi is also one of the craziest dudes you ever wanna meet, if you ever get a chance to fish with him.
