Default What's up with No lights?

I was out last weekend doing some boat fishing and it started to get dark. As my buddy and I were bringing the boat back in we noticed a kayak out in the water. The damn thing is we were almost right next to him before we even saw him. He had no lights. How could he be so lacking in judgement?

Not mandatory it keeps them in stealth mode and lets not forget spot burning. I think most have a death wish because it worth dieing for a fish right. We have seen many in the river turn on there cell phones and wave them as we approach, in the the boat, to warn us of there presence, other wise we would have never seen them.(yes another use for a phone). The real geniuses fish the mouth of the inlet in the dark no lights or reflection devices and disappear in the swell.

Pay attention to what history has taught us or be prepared to relive it again

It a death wish. If no one can see you out there you should stay home.

Hard to believe they would not have enough common sense to use lights. I wonder how many others do the same?
