Who fishes big wood?
Any specific strategies?
Target any water, time of year?
Here is some of the Rip Pluggers big wood I'll be lobbing this year. Targeting rips when the bunker are around.

White Water Monty 2.00 (WWM)
Future Long Islander (ASAP)
Those are great looking. I have a couple but have yet to be successful with the the woods that size.
Those are some huge plugs, beautiful. I like throwing ones that size when bunker or herring are around.
Big Wood, Slack water back bays. Very Slow
I like big wood for fast water, also like jackbass said, slack water, but in rips and inlets.
You can add breachways to that, and areas south of inlets, where you have some nice eddy current. Those are the fattest Dannys I have seen in a long time, Monty.
Wow, those are some slabs of wood!
I like to use them in rough water, but finding a patch that is not so rough, and throwing them there, even if it means throwing sideways and swimming in the trough of the wave.
