that is right Monty,that fish slammed that plug hard and I slammed him back hard too.
it shattered the silence of the deep back water area we were fishing.
what a crash,smash,bash sound it made.
it did this about 60 feet out right in the middle of this wide rip we were doing.
It thrashed hard and then tried to streak away but,I locked him up,then it sounded and stayed deep a short while,then I let the heavy power rod do the work.
the fish then heads towards an underwater shelf and i lean on it a bit which turned it to my right,then it shot almost to my feet and rolloed over and thrashed again,at that point I pulled the rod to my right side and made the fish slide between 2 fat rocks and a flat one on the side,it was now in 6 inches of water thrashing,needless to say,i got a shower of warm water.
the lipper did the rest.
the fish was harvested.

No problem 7,had a blast and it was classic bass fishing action,large wood waggling along a rip with a huge smash,fight and landing.

you know what DS,the p-knutts here are 5 inches right now,seen some getting beat to hell by small bass,gators are doing them too.
