she has come a long way with her casting and setting of the hook.
before she didn't bother to set the hook now,as one can see she does.
for a long time she was afraid to catch a chopper,those teefe must have scared her,now she hunts them and hits them back hard when they hit her.

How did you and your wife fare after the hurricane? Power, any damage, etc?
It crushed a lot of folks in NJ and LI.....we are down but not out.....
The colder weather and winds has given the fish in many of our bays and rivers lockjaw....last week there were a lot schooled up, and some pockets of high teen bass..... but with some bay/river water temps in the low 40's many have moved into the ocean by now...
Big blues....we had them before the storm, in the surf, to the high teens........would really like another shot at them as they come down the E. River and Hudson and out through the NY Bight...there were an unprecedented amount of spot (lafayette) holding them in the Hudson before the storm....
What forage are they eating?.....here it's been corncob mullet, spearing, and rainfish in close.....
and things are slowly starting to get back to normal....
