With the acrylic they should stand up pretty well to bluefish, no?

Nice job on the tail hooks. Quick and easy release for the early season racer blues.

You're testing them in the winter in the bay? Hardcore isn't it cold?

Stop trying to test in the bay… tide is never right, wateris dirty and all the good testing spots are damaged and have no access. I founda fresh water lake that has a dock. The water is clear and very deep ..Perfect spot.Only bad thing is the sea gulls won’t leave me alone when I try to do a longcast and a slow retrieve. There trying to pick the plug out of the water

How is it working with acrylic not that I want to go there, I have enough things started.I would imagine weighting to be completely different and adding tail weight would be a PITA.

I heard it's hard to turn on a lathe ...not sure why but it grinds like wood .
I made the big mistake by tail weighting first batches ...thinking it would be like wood. it failed big time. still in the process of were to put the belly weight or if I even need it . have a bunch ready for testing to see
these I swam and they were perfect ...casting ...sinking ...they even have a little roll to them.
trying to take some video ...hard to do with a 11 ft rod and camra you can't see the screen
trying to fix the one's I failed on to see what it take s to fix them.
my next flea market I'll have a pile to sell cheep

Thats the best clue that you made a good plug and it swims well if it fools the sea gulls, lol.

God i would love to throw one of those at a bluefish. Sick and tired of sacrificing wood plugs to them. It looks like they would last forever.
