I have not fished the rocky areas much with the 20. So far its been great, have not seen any line breakdown yet. Held up better than a few other braids that I have used (Power Pro Slick, Samurai)
I am sure the heavier the braid the longer it will hold up with its breaking rating.

Using this Sufix 832 20 lb I have not had any more knots than the 30 lb braid.
If anything less.
Lighter plugs into wind sometimes invite a wind knot.
I have heard people go to 50 lb braid to not get wind knots. The casting distance loss is huge going to 50 lb and I don't know how much it helps.
