I met 2 guys on the beach Thur from Hillsborough, NJ, Al and Bob. Both veteran surfcasters, they were at the beach for a day of fishing and meeting some friends.

As they saw me come off the bar and asked how deep the water in the troth was.. we got to talking about fishing...

and somehow the conversation got around to old timers, and Billy McFadden...Bob had a nice story to share about fishing for shad with Billy 20 years ago, in the Spring shad run in the Delaware.

Christmas is a tough time for those of us who have lost loved ones. I pray that the family members who are missing you, may reach deep into their hearts and minds, for some positive and uplifting memories, to help them through this difficult time.....
