This wasn't on a beach, but they did find it while fishing so I hope it qualifies.

Wow who put the popsicle stick up YOUR butt?
I say if somebody wants to put a post up we should be grateful that they did.instead of criticizing it. Life's Too Short, smell the roses. My two cents.
seamonkey don't know much about that place but it seems like a very unusual dead thing find. I think it would be pretty awesome in jersey, let alone long island. Thanks for sharing looks pretty cool.
Its a very interesting find.
But its from a boat. And Sunday AM about 20 boats went out the inlet area I was fishing.
All well out, not interfering with me and three other guys on the shore. Then one boat came within 50 yards of us for no reason full throttle on his way out of the inlet. On behalf of inconsiderate pieces of $hit like him, boat dead stuff don't count.
Except for that guy, I had a great time fishing, me and the other 3 guys were over it in 5 minutes. But I just cannot stand inconsiderate stupid boat fisherman.
And that is not saying that all boat fisherman are inconsiderate or stupid.
It should not happen. There is no reason for it.
Either these guys don't care, are incredibly inconsiderate or have an IQ under 40.
Sorry, when I hear the word boat I just go a little

I think it's so interesting that your post happens to be number 666 in this thread LOL
were you a Nazi or a jail warden in another lifetime?
anyone ever watch Hogan's Heroes?
Monty equals Colonel Klink?
Nice find. Jersey beaches that I fish have been strangely clean. Maybe because not many people out fishing them lately?
Good going. Even though its long island.
