    Default Summer doldrums thread

Though I would kick start things a bit. Fishing has been real slow for me, can't seem to find mr striper. Not motivated enough to make the drive up north. (BTW thats all I'm hearing about they are crushing them! Then when you get there, they say "yeah you should have been here yesterday"?)
Post up some exciting stuff, whatever makes sense at the moment.
    Found this video, enjoy.

I enjoy the trips out east in the summer.
The area is challenging to fish, can almost always beat the skunk and the options of fishing rocky areas, crazy rocky areas, sand beaches and in between are plentiful.
Its a heck of a ride for 6-8 hours of intense fishing time, but for me, it is certainly worth it.
July and August for me are the months I head out there every Sunday AM trip.
I am not a real rock hopper...a real rookie, lots of options out there.

Awesome idea. Has even been doldrums for the party boats. The monster blues that were around last year must be on vacation.
