My son has an RX-7 which he put a racing engine in. He has had some trouble with it but should be getting it back soon from the mechanic. I'll have to post a pick.

that car would hook up nice with some nos 200 shot or turbo
15lb. s boost and take some wait off the car like hood doors trunk fenders all glass or carbon
Dark said you were a speed nut and used to race. What's the fastest car you ever raced? And, trying to be respectful here because I wouldnt want to see anyone injured, but what was one of your closest calls with death while racing?
the fastest truck i had was a s10 pickup with 406 cubic inch smallblock pushing 643 hp with nos. my first run and last was 9.9 sec in 1/4 mi. nhra said i can not run the truck with out a nhra lic.
i needed that lic. because any thing under 10.0 sec you had to have that lic and a full roll cage. i had a 3/4 cage not good enough had to be full cage under 10.0 sec that was that too much money and time.
the closest call was go down on a pro gas bike at a 190 mph at 3/4 track the motor let go i had to let the bike go meaning the bike hitting the wall or me thank god i let go
thank god for the safety suit the track is like a grinder

Yes, you read that right; these little beasties are street legal. They run on either Kawasaki or Honda motorcycle engines and co-opt vintage bumper car bodies into the most awesome form of mini-car we've seen in too long.
There are seven of these little monsters floating around California , and they're all the creation of one man, Tom Wright, a builder in the outskirts of San Diego who figured the leftovers of the Long Beach Pike amusement park needed a more dignified end than the trash heap. They were originally powered by two cylinder Harley Davidson Motorcycle engines but they rattled like heck because of the two cylinder vibration and Tom replaces them with four cylinder Honda or Kawasaki 750's and a couple have been measured as capable of 160 MPH, which is terrifyingly fast in machines with such a short wheelbase. By the way, they are almost indestructible in accidents!
Man I would love to drive one of those bumper mini hot rods. That dude did some sweet work!
check out some of these hot rods, awsome!
Thanks for posting that strikezone, awesome shots, the fastback Mustang smoking the tires in reverse and those vintage hot rods blowing through that small town, great action set to great music!
Speedy here is the shell of an old wreck I found in western NJ one weekend when driving around. An old roadster?
Could something like this be restored?
Good luck with that one! I mean, the shell is ok, not rusted like many that old, but no motor or drivetrain? Or maybe he has that stored somewhere. Otherwise you're talking big dollars to buy all that stuff either new or NOS, and then wouldn't it take away from the stock value?
I don't know, maybe speedy could restore it.
yes i can the frame is there and the cab the rest will fall in to place as you start building
and adding parts musty-tang front clip and rear and motor&trans if you like fords
i would stick with chevy my self !!!!
