well stix,I had to come up with a name that describes what the colors look like as I custom mixed them myself.such colors are not sold like these are.
if you could see the pink chocolate, you'd call it that too.
I am waiting to see what you have going on,I know it is purrdy.

Just some basic colors I like to use, I mix my colors also I work with a lot of pearls and transparent paints.I'll post them soon I still have one more to epoxy and a crap load sitting sealed ready for primer my biggest is a 4 oz. Conrad I'll be doing a lot of my go to A-40 Sr. and Jr./ slopehead cowboys/dannies and a few of Speedy's plugs he sent me.I'm going to re-weight some A-40's for a test swim.

Those plugs are some of the fattest I have ever seen from any plug builder. Look just like fat pregnant bunnker or herring. Nice work.
Dogfish, you are correct, the big plug makers are just not into doing large bodied swimmers,I do them because I wanted them and could never find them at all.
that's my biggest reason for starting to make my own.
with it's compact body it will cast like a baseball and with it's wide profile it will waggle heavy and will push lots of water aside as it goes along, thats what gets a fish's attention even if the fish does not see the lure,it damn sure hears it moving along.
at 3 oz,it will even cut though wind in your face well and not tumble like a potato chip.
and thanks for the kind words.
