Man you are racking up those catches! Nice work. Do you have a lot of bait in your area at night?

some bunker around but, scattered which is what I like, the fish have to work to eat so,they are not so shy to slam a big piece of wood.

it has been a spotty season at best and it is now dead,no fish since the last picture.
been looking to catch some gators but, they seem to be in low amounts too.
as I can call it this year the spring run didn't happen.
caught more local fish than any "run" fish.
will keep casting and hanging on.

Yes thats what I am seeing lately ripplugger. Have not gotten fish since my last report when I had some good luck for about 10 days after that and then it died out. why to you suppose that is? I am still hearing reports of bunker in the sound at night but I have not seen any.

By the way those are some very nice fish there. My biggest for this season is only 32 inches.

    well,I know it's a year and 10 days later but,I didn't realize I never replied to this.
I sure wish I knew why a school of fish would leave food and swim away.
perhaps they were on a migration to a preferred area or less or more favorable water temps.
I know gators like to roam, they are built to do so fast and steady.
as for bass they are laid back but, will leave food to continue on their way/migrate.
I have seen that quite a few times where there is plenty of feed for them but, they move on perhaps to be in an area for a squid bloom or something like that.
at times animals know when to be somewhere specific no matter what.
