Nice!
Last spring some guy was casting a hopkins in The end of March with pieces of clam on the trebles. Now that's a Googan.
^^I would have thought that too, until I saw these videos dark posted up. The guys were the only ones on the beach catching, and they were using pieces of bunker on hopkins, or something like that.

It actually works well off certain beaches for fluke small hopkins and a strip of bunker jigged or dragged across the bottom.Shhh!

Sometimes metals work better different action all on their own w/o putting much work into it as in working the bucktail but like anything else nothing is written in stone trying different things just may turn their heads a good current helps, you really don't want to use them when the current is slowing they will lose their action just as a bucktail will even going to a lighter weight thats when a teaser will work better.IMO

We snagged some bunker out front one day looking for bass. When we came back into the river heading home there were guys drifting for fluke so we set up a drift and cut small strips of fresh bunker and destroyed the fluke. Everyone was yelling at us because we were catching like 10 to 2. That was a great day of fluking.
Those bunker are unbelievable for any type of bait fishing scent, oils & shine on the outer skin it just works the bad thing is they are being wiped out too.
